Dr. Tan brings with him more than twenty years of medical expertise to aesthetic practice since 2001, with a career spanning leading Singapore hospitals and landmark national initiatives such as the CODE EYE blindness resuscitation program.
Formerly Deputy Medical Director and General Manager of Healthway Medical Group, he has substantial experience operating medical group practices including Silver Cross Family Clinics, Island Orthopaedics Consultants, Singapore Baby and Child Clinics as well as Nobel Specialists.
A respected educator among fellow physicians, he is widely recognized for raising the standards of safe and effective aesthetic medicine in Singapore. Key Achievement — CODE EYE Protocol:
Dr Tan was the key driver of CODE EYE — Singapore’s local dermal filler-related blindness protocol, developed in collaboration with the Singapore National Eye Centre and subject matter experts. The protocol includes an eye resuscitation kit and a panel of ophthalmologists providing coverage within 15 minutes across an estimated 70% of all aesthetic clinics in Singapore.
